Frequently Asked

Is the printing single-sided or double-sided?
Both sides are covered. Each face of the panel gets its own ACM print mounted to the backer — both prints are included in the price, and the two sides can carry the same or completely different artwork at no extra charge.
What is the graphic panel made of?
When Upland produces your graphics, the backer is painted 1/2" Baltic birch plywood with an ACM (aluminum composite) print mounted to each face. Mounting your own panel instead? Nearly any rigid substrate works — ACM, gatorboard, PVC, or plywood — up to the recommended 72" height.
Which wood am I looking at in the photos?
The product photos show cherry. To see birch or walnut, use the live 3D preview at the top of the page — it renders the actual species, and the painted option previews your Sherwin-Williams color. All three woods are solid lumber, hand-finished in clear tung oil; painted bases are Baltic birch plywood.
Can I mount a panel I print myself?
Yes — that's the sign-base-only option. Your panel slips into the slot between the two bases and clamps with the included connector bolts, fender washers, and wingnuts. The panel just needs matching bolt holes — ask us for a free 1:1 template with the hole locations for your width.
How tall are the graphics?
Graphic packages from Upland are produced 72" tall — the recommended maximum for stability. If you're printing your own panel, any height up to 72" works well.
